Hamilton Police Female Choir – Unity Through Harmony
In 2001, Hamilton police officer Brandi Lowry nee Frazier came to the Hamilton Police Chief Ken Robertson and the Hamilton Police Services Board with her idea to start a female choir composed of serving Hamilton police officers and civilian members.
That was the beginning of a wonderful new asset to the police service and the community. It was also the making of history as the first and only all-female police choir in Canada. The choir performs under the direction of Donna Dunn-Albert and is accompanied by Sophia Werden.
